It was a lovely surprise to have a real breakfast served hot to us with as much coffee as we liked. The room that breakfast was served in was lovely. We sat by the window and I saw a beaver swimming in the lake. So charming. I brought a friend with me who has limited mobility. It was great to have a place where she could do so much in one place, go to a fine restaurant, have a nice breakfast, go to the pool and hottub, and go over to the Mill and enjoy that too! We drove to a couple of places close by. I know that she immediately told her son and daughter-in-law to book a weekend there.

This is our go-to place to stay when visiting family in the area. From check-in to check-out, we felt well cared for and appreciated as guests. Room well appointed and exceptionally clean. Breakfast in bright café included table service. On this stay we also opted to host family for dinner at The Locks, the inn's onsite restaurant, which also offered excellent service.

The complimentary breakfast was great (both mornings). The pool was lovely. The hot tub was down a couple times when we went to use it, but the pool and steam room were nice. The changerooms were also clean. The room was great, large, and clean. The check in was nice - the person behind the counter was polite and helpful. Lots of food options around.

Great central location with good on site parking. Spacious comfortable room, bathroom perhaps a bit tired but everything worked. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool area and lovely gardens. Breakfast was limited but good. Very good dinner in the “Locks” restaurant in the hotel - appears to be operated separately.

The room was really nice and the king size bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful when we asked for bedding for the sofa bed. The breakfast was really good but it would have been even better if it had come with bacon. The eggs were good and the home fries were delicious.
